The demon scam
You stagger over to Merle, ignoring the battle. They only thing that matters to you is your precious little sister! "Merle!!" you gasp and kneel beside her.
She is crying and she looks frightened, but to your great relief, she is not injured at all.
You glance back at the fight and notice that the creature that entered it seems to be able to handle itself pretty well.
Now you see that it actually isn't an 'it' at all, but a young female cat-demon with long black hair and fuzzy ears and a tail that whips about as she easily fights off the hyenas.
Soon enough, she has killed most of them, and the rest takes off, whimpering. The cat-demon straightens up and licks off the blood from her claws with a little smirk, her yellow eyes falling upon you.
