The demon scam
Merle clings to you, looking scared, but she stays still in your arms as you run for your life.
You can hear the hyenas snarl and grow behind you, and it sounds like they are gaining on you too...
The pain from the fall you took earlier throbs in your head, making you feel dizzy, and suddenly you trip over a rock and lose your balance. Before you have a chance to get up again, one of the hyenas leap at you and scrape your side with it's sharp claws.
You scream in pain, but then the demon gets tossed aside by something or someone that just entered the fight.
