As you enter the main gates of the large city, the guards nod at you and let you pass. You've never been to such a large place! You could probably fit Altberg in here ten times over you think. The other thing you notice is the diversity of people here. You were planning on just staying here a little while to replenish your supplies and maybe buy some equipment before exploring more of the world, but you realize this place could hold adventure as well. As you stand in the city square, you figure you should get settled at an Inn and decide what to do next, but maybe you should buy some equipment and take care of some other possible business first. You may be coming back to this location so keep in mind that once you've visited one place, you can't visit it again.
