The Galactic Adventures of Pierce Darkblade

" Yes Defense Minister, I will join you to the council."

"Excellent, Excellent! This Way Captain."

The Defense Minister leads you through some winding city roads to the domed capital building of Freevus. You ascend the many steps and enter the cavernous capital building, accompanied by your engineers.

Standing in the great council chamber of Freevus you are just happy to be out of the snow and in a warm room for the moment. You exchange pleasantires with the Freevian council and quickly get to the meat and potatoes of the situation.

The council shows you a map of every area struck by the meteors. You learn that every meteor has directly impacted a major population center. Almost as if these meteors were falling at strategic locations to cause the most damage possible.

"I don't believe in coincidences. This is clearly some sort of aggressive action carried out by sentient beings. Somehow they are able to use meteorites as weapons which they believe will fool everyone into thinking this is just a natural occurence." You state boldly to the council.

"We feared as much." A council member states. "They obviously have knowledge of the planet and if you were to build the planetary shield they will surley destroy the area you are building it."

"But, that will draw out the attackers from hiding." You state.

"What do you propose Captain Darkblade?"

"My engineers begin to install the planetary shield. Meanwhile, myself and the rest of my crew will orbit, cloaked, and when the attackers appear we will be able to engage your enemy."

The Freevian council agrees to your plan of action, thanking you as you leave they ask you to return upon completion of your quest for a reward. You tell your engineers to begin building the shield on the outskirts of the city as you head back to the Pachyderm.

In orbit, your ship has cloaked itself to remain hidden from the attackers of Freevus. A day has gone by with no signs of anything unusual. Your beginning to get bored, your a man of action, not a sloth with a ship. What do you do?
