Siege!

In the wake of the recent attack on the church shattering ninety years of supremacy the people faith was shaken. The Church, not having an explanation of how the forest people infiltrated told them that these people had traveled to hell and allied themselves with the forces of darkness. They were given unholy magic and the up and coming battle would determine a victor between good and evil. The stupid and fearful masses swallowed this story and war fervor swept the land. They were willing to flatten the fortress if necessary to crush the evil within it.
The Church has commissioned you, a new bishop/commander to lead the attacks. They believe your strategic skill and the power of God on their side should be enough to shatter through the defenses of the impenetrable fortress they have constructed. The armies have been mobilized and are ready to be commanded.
