Siege!

One night, ninety years to the day the forest people left the civilized world a force returned. They launched a series of boats from the Glacioust Mountains into the empty sea. Silently they moved across the land towards Ducounts fortress while most people slept. Then, somehow… it is unknown the means the used to do this, an entire army of forest people warriors infiltrated the fortress and killed its every inhabitant. The forest people had abandoned their pacifism in the wake of the genocide and exile forced upon them by the Church. Once the fortress was under their control they immediately begin preparing it for war, further fortifying it and preparing anti-siege weapons. Within a week the Church's crusader army had been mobilized and they prepared to lay siege on their own fortress, constructed to be impenetrable. The greatest battle the world had ever seen lay ahead.




Now you must choose which side you shall command: the enigmatic Forest People or the dogmatic empire of the Church. Shall you be the besieged or the siege force? The decision is yours.
