Helspar's Crag
You dismiss Gurny and ponder your options. This being a backwoods watchtower, personell has always been at a premium. Another three of your men are on patrol, and two more remain here at the tower.
You could dispatch Lars. He's a swift rider. No doubt he could reach the keep within a matter of days and summon reinforcements.
Or, assuming luck is on his side, he could possibly find the second patrol even sooner.
You also consider sending another patrol to the swamp. If only you had more men. You're reluctant to send two young greenhorns on their own, especially if what Gurny claims is true.
You could lead the patrol yourself. It would be good to wear your hauberk again and sit astride a horse.

You have 5 choices:
- Dispatch Lars to the keep and remain within the tower.
- Dispatch Lars to find the second patrol and remain within the tower.
- Lead both guardsmen to the swamp.
- Dispatch Lars to the keep and lead a two man patrol to the swamp.
- Dispatch Lars to find the second patrol and lead a two man patrol of your own to the swamp.
