The knights Lady

Alinore agrees that he should stay in bed for one more day. The morning passes while they discuss poetry. They both take turns quoting their favorite lines.

Alinore is sitting on the edge of Guy's bed as the conversation comes to a halt. Guy looks at Alinore and takes her hand in his own. "Alinore, when they were carrying me back to the castle after my injury, the only thing I can remember is how disappointed I was that I want going to live long enough to kiss you again"

Alinore was not prepared for this sudden outburst of feelings, but she remembers feeling the same way. She was shy to look at him while she spoke, so she looked out the window instead. "when I saw you lying there, with blood all over your face, I had the same thought." She met his eyes and felt as though he was seeing all the way to the deepest part of her soul.

His blonde hair was messy from lying in bed and Alinore reached over to pat it down, but Guy turned his head and kissed her palm. He took her hand and kissed her wrist, and then her elbow. He sat up slowly as kissed her shoulder and then her neck. He placed on kiss on the soft spot beneath her delicate jaw, and at that point Alinore melted into his arms. She turned her face to kiss him back and they embraced fully body and soul.

His lips covered hers and drank her in. She smelled of flowers and clean linen. Guy parted her lips with his own and dove into her mouth with his tongue. When she moaned softly he pressed her down to the pillows and moved his hand to her ripe bosom. He could feel the nipple beneath her dress grow hard when he ran his fingers across it.

Alinore allowed him to press her gently down on the bed, his hands were stroking her body in ways she never imagined. He softly caressed her breast and she sighed with desire. She ran her hands through his thick blond hair. It was silky and smooth. Alinore wanted this moment to last forever. It lacked the frenzied passion of their first kiss, but this embrace made her feel as though she and Guy were two halves of a whole. They belonged together, they fit.

Just then the door banged open. "What is going on in here?" Alinore sat up to see Robert in the door way, his eyes Flashing with outrage. Alinore tried to find the words to explain, but they all sounded soÂ…wanton. "Is this the way you repay Baron Draken for his hospitality? By taking advantage of his daughter under his own roof?" Robert was furious, there is no changing his mind when he believes he is in the right. "I call you out Sir Guy. You have suffered a serious head wound so will not insist on instant retribution, however tomorrow I will meet you on the jousting field and you will repay your debt of honor to this family!"

"Robert!" Cried Alinore, "Wait, it was not his fault." Alinore Jumped to her feet, but Robert had already turned and gone. She looked back at Sir Guy, but his eyes were closed and he looked completely stricken. "Guy, I will go speak with him, I will tell him it was my fault. You are not well enough to sit a horse yet."
