You go down the eastern path, and the drums start to get louder. Eventually you see a large clearing with a sizable number of huts and lizard men. They appear to be having some sort of ceremony. Many of them are beating drums, while a few others are dancing. A big muscular Lizard man wielding a trident seems to be whipping them all up into a frenzy. Must be the Chief. Two other sights catch your eye.
There are a few prisoners in a bamboo cage. Probably either going to be food, or sacrificed, possibly both.
There is a big Lizard statue in the center of the village with a single dark red gem in its forehead. That must be a Blood gem that Raltec wanted. Great and all you have to do is wade through a village of Lizards to get it.
Raltec certainly did it to you again. You're going to have to think about this one.
If you're a Wizard, you know a simple fireball isn't going to take out enough of them, even with a sneak attack. You need something that's area effect and going to do significant damage. Ice Storm comes to mind, reptilian creatures like these would certainly be devastated by it. Problem is its going to be a significant drain on you and you're also going to be caught in the blast since you have to go get the gem still.
If you're a Technologist, you could use some firebombs to create enough havoc and chaos to get the gem and get out. You'd need at least two though.
Other than that you're at a loss of what to do, the only thing you can do is observe a little more and wait for an opening.
