Dropped
You throw yourself, but not towards the door.
You use your arms to throw yourself back into the plane. You push on the doorway with all your strength. Apparently, you pushed to hard.
You slam yourself into your squad leader, and both of you slam into the plane's wall. It's a miracle you didnt break the plane, from what you can see, it's almost as if the plane is made of paper.
But before you can make sense of what just happened, the plane nearly rolls over and flames break out inside. You hear one man screaming and the plane fights to regain control.
The plane straightens out! Too bad a shell rips off a wing and a chunk of the fuselage.
Damn! You could have been on solid ground had you just jumped! The plane rapidly loses altitude, and starts breaking into a spin. You can feel the plane diving, and in about a couple of seconds, the plane will be diving nose-down.
Before the plane dives, you might just be able to make it into the gaping hole where the wing used to be. No, that wont work. You chute is strapped to the rail, and the only way it will open is if you jump out the door.
The plane breaks into a spin now. It's gaining speed, but you might be able to make it out the door before the plane's spin pins you down.
