Dropped
You struggle to pull and push your way to the doorway. You grab the doorway and pull
like your life depends on it. You pull yourself halfway out, and the plane spins a little faster. You have enough time for one more pull, or you'll be caught in the doorway while the plane spins full speed.
Not wanting to try that, you push with your arms on the doorway from the outside
with whatever strength you have left.
You push yourself out of the plane!
You freefall for a few seconds, when you make a sickening realization:
The parachute should have caught you already! You look up and see a string where the parachute should be.
Looks like the parachute got cut while the plane was spinning!
Damn, you made two decisions in ten seconds, and both of them were wrong. As you drift away from the plane, You realized the plane was headed for a large lake. If you had stayed inside, you probably would have survived.
As you drift away, your mind races. You think about your parents, your brother, and your childhood. You think about what could have been had you not joined the army. About your future.
And then you just let your mind go blank, close your eyes, and wait as your body reaches the ground.
