For your remaining "downtime" you spend a lot of time watching and listening to talk. After all the hints and rumors you've heard, you've finally learned for certain that this sect has much more powerful connections than you previously thought. The Baron's son Farad and Reginald have a relationship that is linked in several ways, but most importantly is their dedication to the Dark One. They're both involved in attempting to create more strife in the city to cause a riot and during the mayhem Farad will seize power and most likely outlaw all other faiths other than the one dedicated to the Dark One with Reginald being the sanctioned High Priest of the city.

For whatever reason you don't really feel enthusiastic about this plan. It seems like Farad and Reginald are just acting like a couple of overgrown lovesick teenagers trying to be rebellious. You don't know. Something about this planÂ…doesn't seem like its totally serving the will of the Dark One. You don't even fit in with the rest of your brethren. They all just seem like a bunch of brainwashed sheep, all after their own petty goals that don't really mean much in the scheme of things. You also wonder if it's just you giving into thoughts of weakness because maybe you don't have the stomach for this deep down inside.

As you pursue this path of introspection alone in your room one night, you are visited by a DARK FATE! A creature rumored to converse directly with the Dark One himself! They typically only appear to give important informationÂ…or to punish those that have offended the Dark One greatly. You better hope it isn't the latter.

The Dark Fate floats towards you and looks at down at you.

"You have caught the attention of the Dark One, mortal. But keep in mind though, that is not necessarily a good thing. However that will be determined shortly, you will be judged. Do not attempt to escape, do not attempt to resist, and do not attempt to fight. All such actions will result in your death and then your eternally painful torture in the afterlife." The Fate's hollow voice echos.

Being able to do little else, you take a deep breath and submit to the judgment of the Dark One.
