Marvus Delko, an aging human, sits patiently at his desk with his arms folded. He looks at you from behind horn-rimmed glasses and gives you a small nod of recognition.
Standing before his desk now, Marvus greets you and shakes your hand. He then says "So, are you ready for an assignment?"
"Yes sir!" you announce, feeling more confident than ever. You have had a great time at the Ranger Academy here on beautiful Derista, but you are defiitely ready for a change of scenery.
"Good," Marvus says and pushes five datafiles towards you. You pick one up and switch it on, immediately the blank slate comes to life with an article about a planet and assignment. Carefully, you read through all five files and in turn, learn all five of your possible assignments...

This planet is made up of highly dense forests and jungles. Oceans cover 60% of the planet's surface. The planet is divided into three regions of rule, each with a different interpretation of government.
This assignment takes place in the Athar Region, which is mainly populated by a radical religious group known as The Rakkers. A scientist belonging to many top-secret Universal Guilds was sent there on an unknown assignment a few months ago, but was last heard from two weeks ago. There is reason to believe that he has been captured and is now in dire circumstances. Your mission is to rescue him and find out any information on a Rakker conspiracy against the Universal Government.

This planet is made up of barren, rocky desert and various mountain ranges. This has been a popular stop-site for spacers en route to other planets for years, so a number of significant spacer outposts has delevoped as a result. With the outposts, come many different groups of thugs and mercenaries, many of which try to "dominate the area"
Your assignment takes place in the semi-populous outpost city of Baraza. A local gang known as "The Grapplers" has been reported hiding weapons belonging to the Universal Military and could be extremely dangerous if dealt to the wrong hands. Go undercover to discover if these accusations are true or false. At the same time, try to break down the Grapplers and dismantle their leadership.

This is a tropical planet, made up mostly of deserted islands and tropical resorts. Since ocean does cover 90% of the planet, population is few and has been concentrated in some of the larger resort cities. Recently, one of the island resorts had to shut down and quarantined after a strange virus had been discovered and claimed over 60 lives in two weeks.
Your assignment takes place at the massive resort of Ela'Derhn. There have been a few reports of illness lately, though nothing major enough to declare a virus. But something seems wierd about this report and it is your job to discover if there has been any outbreak of virus at this resort.

This planet is very hazardous both in terrain and syndicated crime. The planet surface is made up of plains, jungle, and immense swamps. An almost lawless planet, slavery of the Chikari tribes still exists to this day and slavers practically run the planet. The actual Chista government is kept weak and small, unable to initiate any kind of change. Because of this, two groups of slavers are preparing to go to war with each other. If so, this war will very possibly wage through many local towns and villages.
It is your assignment to get to the bottom of this confict between the two slaver groups. Do this by any means necessary. Also, try to find any way to strengthen the Chista government or Universal Aide will be required.

Oru is an ocean planet, covered 99.9% in water. However this has not stopped colonization and the growth of life, primarily in the colossal underwater cities consructed by the Oruns. The Oruns are a very sophisticated society and they peacefully keep to themselves, while still maintaining good relations with the Universal Government.
Your assignment takes place in the city of Zaura. The Zauran authorities have requested the service of a Universal Ranger to investigate a strange new phenomena going on in the city. They believe it could be related to a mysterious group of researchers. This mission may sound ominous, but that is because this is nothing more than a response for aide, presumably for a trustworthy source.
