After a twelve hour travel across the galaxy, you are now reaching your final destination of Oru. You are excited because Oru was one of the planets you always had to learn about in your Art and Culture classes and now you get to visit in person. The Oruns are universally reknown for having an exceptionally keen aptitude for design and art. You wonder how you will fit in with their culture.

Now you are getting a signal from the Zauran Spaceport that you are cleared to land, so in a few moments you drop down into the atmosphere. You land with no problems and set out to meet with your guide, a Orun by the name of Galakos.

You meet Galakos inside near an elevator, waiting for you. Galakos has typical Orun features: bluish, leathery skin, tall neck, slender figure. The typical Orun lives for about 200 years and you would guess that Galakos has lived for at least half that amount, for his name has been recorded in Orun records for as long as you can remember.

He smiles and shakes your hand. "Welcome Ranger. Thank you for responding to the call."

As you step into the elevator with Galakos, you say "Yeah, it's no problem. I've been looking forward to this."

As the doors open again, you and Galakos stand in a small, glass chamber. Before you is a small submarine and outside is nothing but water. You watch as exotic Orun fish swim by as you step into the submarine. Galakos works the controls and in a few moments, you take off towards the brightly lit jewel of a structure beneath you, Zaura.

Galakos asks you "So are you aware of why we have recruited you?"

You shake your head no. Galakos continues to explain "This group we have asked you to investigate are known as 'Our Bright Future'. They are a mysterious bunch, preferring to conduct their experiments in solitude. However lately they've been causing some stir-ups in the city."

"What do you mean?" you inquire.

"There were two deaths reported last month," Galakos explains. "Both died in the same manner, doctors say they've never seen anything like it."

"And the Ourun authorities think there might be a connection with this research group?" you say, connecting the dots.

"Precisely," Galakos admits. "It's up to you to investigate the rest of this."

As you enter the city of Zaura, it's easy to understand why so many galactic tourists come here every year. The place is magnificent, with gigantic halls and squares which almost give the illusion that the city is outside. The ocean is still visible ahead, but it the ceiling is high enough to prevent any idea of claustrophobia.

You see many Oruns doing their daily routines, many conversing and walking from place to place. Along with Oruns, you see groups of humans and other alien races you have yet to identify.

Galakos then asks you "Would you like me to take you to your quarters first? Or would you like to do a bit of exploring?"
