(Before you begin, please take a piece of paper and a pen. Divide the paper into two, and put two headings - good and evil. At various stages in the story, you will get good and/or evil points. When you are told to, put them in the correct section).
You are standing just outside the small hut where you have been living in for the past few years, frowning slightly to yourself as you think on the words that the old woman said to you.
She had spoken of a time of darkness that would come fast upon the land of Corae, and had warned you that there may come a time when you might have to take up your sword once more to protect your home.
You don't believe a word of it. The old woman was just trying to scam you out of your money, of which you now have precious little left. You are technically retired now - you have not fought for some years. You are perfectly happy with your lovely garden, and have no wish to take up your sword once more in battle.
As you stand there, contemplating what to do, you see a man on a horse, riding fast in your direction. You frown, and shade your eyes against the midday sun. However, the man is too far away for you to make out any details other than his long black hair that is being blown back in the wind.
What do you want to do?
