“Powering down,” you lie. You are not programmed to lie.

You side step with blinding inhuman speed grabbing the barrel of the older woman’s gun and ripping it from her hands. Her eyes are wide with surprise and the look of fear on the guard's face when you swing the gun on her somehow gives you satisfaction. At least you think the sensation you are feeling is satisfaction, it's hard to be sure... Feelings are a new concept to you.

When the young woman's body hits the floor your eyes catch the first guard moving for her weapon, you jab at her nose and she drops with a bloodied and broken face.

“Andrew,” your new master says, fear vividly audible in her tone; “Power down.” You cock your head to the side. “Now,” she says. She holds the younger woman's gun in her hands but the barrel is shaking. You don't think she'll be quick enough to use it before you attack.

“No,” you tell her, jamming the butt of the firearm into her throat. She stumbles backward, dropping the weapon and clutching at her throat.

She falls to her knees, her face turning a deep red as she struggles and fails to breathe. She falls face down and you can hear her gasping futiley for air.

"Power down," you tell her as she dies at your feet.

You leave them behind you on the ground and walk out of the warehouse. You stand against the exterior wall and scan the perimeter. You are in a walled lot. The gate is guarded and guardswomen walk the walls.

If you time it right you might be able to get to the gate, take out the guards, and escape. But it’s risky. It might be easier to take one of the cars in the warehouse and just crash through the gates. That might draw too much attention though.

Either way, you have to do something. Staying here is asking to be terminated.
