The Island of Destiny
As you hike northwards, you seem to lose track of time as minutes of walking slowly drift into hours. The sun begins to set in the distance and by nightfall, you are standing in the middle of a valley. Trees and mountains surround you. Nowhere can you see any sign of the ocean, although you're sure that it HAS to be at least on the other side of one of those mountains.
You decide to try and make a camp for the night. You can already feel your body shivering from the night breezes. You can hear a howling in the distance and you really hope that you don't hear it again. You set to work trying to find materials to make a good shelter for the night and to be honest, you don't really think that there's a lot you can find. Here you are standing in the middle of a plain with only the clothes on your back. What can you expect to find?
Then you hear the howling again, this time slightly louder. You can't really tell if it's closer but maybe you shouldn't chance finding out. You know that your body's exhausted, but is this really the best place to camp?
