Joe's two veteran partners are waiting for him at the safe house when he shows up. Johnson, the rookie, hasn't showed up yet. The deal is that this accountant thinking he can testify against his family apparently personally insults the Russian mob boss. This Russian mob boss is taking thinks so personally that he himself has to do the hit on the accountant. This is where Joe and his police friends come in, they supposedly should keep the accountant alive and hopefully get enough evidence on the boss for an arrest. Both men are cleaning and loading there weapons. A double knock sounds and one of the cops lets Johnson in. "Why you late?" Asked the hardened cop. Johnson looks nervous but also harmless, "No reason," he stammered, "Just got caught up." Joe gives Johnson an odd look seemingly as if recognizing something for the first time. Joe is motioned over to the window by his partner who is peering through a crack in the shades through a pair of high powered binoculars. "I see the guy, ugly mug, he's just watching T.V. How should we plays this one guys?" Joe comes up behind him quietly, "If we go in there we risk spooking the Boss before he does anything but If we stay out here then there's the possibility that he may get the accountant and get away before we respond. Not a great situation. We've got two men on top of the library across the street, best snipers in S.W.A.T. so at least we'll have the streets covered." Johnson checks his cell phone, and as if he had received a text and responds back. "Really Johnson, you know better than to bring personal phones along with you on stakeouts," says Joe, Johnson sheepishly apologizes and powers down his cell. Joe thinks to himself, If I was a dirty cop I would need a cell phone as well. "What do you think Joe, stay here and watch or try to intercept the accountant now before the boss shows up?"
