The Uplink World
The interior of the small shop is decorated with posters advertising local events. A small counter stands along one wall with a row of seats in front of it. A rather jovial man stands behind the counter absent mindedly tapping the counter in tune with an old song of the radio.
Turning to you he greets you in a cheerful tone.
"Welcome, we have special only tree dollar for beef noodle bowl. You want?"
"Sounds good, I'll also have a hot sake."
"Coming right up sir"
A few minutes later he hands you a large bowl of noodles and place the small container of sake next to you. The hot steam rises off the bowl and taking the chop sticks in hand, you begin to quickly devour the beef noodles. Maybe it's just your hunger talking but you can swear with all honesty that it was most delicious thing you've ever eaten.
Ordering another bowl you begin to sip on the sake and it warms you from within. The next bowl arrives and you devour it as quickly as the last.
You take your time to relax as you finish off your sake and two more bowls of noodles.
