Time Traveller
"I say we attack from the East!" You say, thumping your fist down on the table. You are really getting into this role.
"Excellent idea!" Says the woman who rescued you. "We can attack from the woods!"
They spend some hours deciding on units and attack plans, but eventually the forces are ready, and standing in orderly groups. The man who calls you Commander White steps in front of the crowd.
"Troops! Today, we shall finally take back our land! We are glad to have a man from the future as one of our commanders, so we shall surely win! Loyal troops! Are you ready?"
A massive roar goes up from the troops, and the leader waits for them to shout themselves out. When they do, he speaks again.
"We attack from the East! This group-" and he waves a hand across about ten soldiers, "- will go with Commander White and take the East wall!"
Your heart goes into your throat. You're going to be leading the first attack! The soldiers are looking at you though, so you grin at them, and they grin back, thinking you will lead them to victory. You start formulating a plan about the attack, but you can't think of anything you can use to scare the defenders. The man ahs finished talking, and your ten men have formed up behind you.
Shortly, the marching begins. It is a sound of thousands of feet marching, and the occasional laugh from the ranks.
You lead your men up the hill near the castle and into the forest. You skirt around the area where your machine is, and walk for roughly two hours until you reach the forest next to the castle. You motion for your men to stay low in the undergrowth, and soon enough, there is almost a hundred men in the trees.
All you have to do now is wait for the signal to commence the attack!
