The Island of Destiny
You carefully edge your way around the hollow tube, being cautious but at the same time scanning for any clue as to what this tube might be here for. A second later, you hear a strange whirring sound and the next instant, you watch incredibly as a roll of paper shoots out from the top of the tube. Right after the piece of paper hits the sand, the tube immediately jolts down back under the sand. The whole experience happens so quickly that you stand there for a moment after, gazing dully at the paper.
You then come to your senses and walk over to the paper. Once you pick it up, you unroll it carefully and are amazed to see that this message looks just like the one you recieved when you first woke up on the island. This note says:
"To find answers and meaning, you must come to the center of the island. Beyond the mountains."
You aren't really sure what to do with this information or how to handle it. You're not sure what you would actually find at the center of the island, but you do know just from what you see that it would be a hell of a journey. What do you do?
