The Island of Destiny

You watch in amazement as the bump in the sand slides up closer to you and then an instant later, a hollow tube appears out of the ground. It is made of metal and looks very rusty, as if it has been buried under the sand for a while. The tube points directly upwards and is about four feet tall.
