Another Monday Morning

You've always had a soft spot for animals, so you decide to help the cat. You climb up the tree, trying to attract the cat to you. The cat seems disinterested, and hops down. You, however, are still up in the tree. When you try to get down, you discover that the leg of your jeans is stuck. Stupid cat! If you try to pull free, you risk ripping your jeans; on the other hand, you can't stay here forever. Now what?
