Ice Wolves
You grab the skis from them. Then you take them outside. Your friends follow, watching you carefully. You take out your lighter...
And set the tips of each one alight. They stare at you in confusion, but you simply hand each of them a "ski torch." "If one comes near you," you explain, "set it alight! Do not hesitate. One second's all they need!"
The boys nod, and you begin running towards the lodge. They follow, but they are slower than you, and you continuously have to pause to let them catch up. Eventually, however, you make it to the lodge with no trouble and walk up to the desk. The clerk is gone. You nod to your friends and they slowly creep up behind the desk. Their heads disappear for a moment before reappearing, frowning and shaking their heads. You shrug your shoulders and are just turning to go into the hallway when a hand grabs your shoulder, and a voice behind you growls, "What are you doing here?"
