Ice Wolves

The lodge seemed like the only smart decision, as you have found out that these monsters are clever in their ways. You discuss your plan with James and Bob, and they agree. The lodge was the safest option. However, you each needed weapons or you would not last long. You have your knife, but your friends have no silver to account for. Then you think of something. "Maybe the lodge has silver weapons in a storage closet or something," you tell them. "That must be how everyone stays safe in the lodge."
"That or the people who own the resort stick some visitors here for sacrifices to the werewolves so that they don't attack the lodge," says Bob. "In which case, going to the lodge would only bring the monsters to the other guests here."
"That is a chance we must take," you explain as calmly as you can. "Maybe they can help us. Personally, I think the desk receptionist knows something about these monsters!"
"You are so fricking paranoid!" screams Bob.
"Who's paranoid?" you growl in reply. "You're the one who thinks that the resort is putting us in this cabin for the slaughter!"
"ENOUGH!" yells James. "Don't you see what they're trying to do? They're trying to separate us. They are trying to make us enemies. Then they can pick us off, one by one."
You calm down and think. What is the best way to get to the resort without a ruckus? you say to yourself. Then you remember something. "James," you say, "do you ever actually find your skis?"
"Yeah, they were in my closet," he answers. "Under all of my clothes."
"Bob, do you have yours?" you ask.
"Sure, but are you planning on us skiing uphill?" he says sarcastically.
"No," you reply. "I have a better idea."
