Forest Dweller

The village is empty. The outside, at least. The tents seem to be filled with activity.

No ambush, no guards, nothing. This puts you slightly on edge. You pray they haven't attacked the village yet. You don't detect life signs near there, so unless they are already inside, which is unlikely, everything should be okay.

You turn around to look at the forest again for protection. It is gone. Only a vast expanse of desert lays before your weary eyes.

That settles it. You are inside of an illusion, Elos has to be here.

"Well well well... the forest protector. They send one scrawny boy to stop me from taking what is rightfully mine. How's that bitch Ayla doing?" You force your anger down, you must stay calm if you are to defeat him.
"She's fine." You say in a soft voice.
"Well we'll have to fix that, won't we? But first... MEN!" Elos's men burst from their tents, each carrying what you know now as guns. You feel a mix of relief and panic. They are here, not at the village. The weapons they have could rip you apart in an instant.
"So then, high and mighty protector, do you like your odds?"
"Do you like yours?" You say, more confident than you feel.
"Tch. Let's see. FIRE!" The men all point their guns at you. Elos is still nowhere to be seen. You've only got a few moments.
