I changed into the boxers, hoping they'd be good enough, and waded out into the ocean. It was wonderful. It was like the water was alive and it wanted to play.

Waves sprayed me with salty mist. Currents tugged at my toes and ankles. I laughed as one wave nearly knocked me over. Moving deeper and deeper into the water I found that I was really enjoying myself. I dove under water and came back up, pushing my wet hair away from my eyes.

I'm not sure how long I spent playing in the waves, and swimming through the water. If Snape hadn't called me to the beach I know I wouldn't have come out any time soon, but when I heard him call me in, I headed for shore.

If nothing else good came of this at least I had the memory of swimming in the ocean.

"What is it," I called as I came out, dripping water across the sand.

"It's lunch time," Snape told me. He had sandwiches and fruit set out on a low fold out table. I have no idea where he'd gotten it all from. Then he looked at me oddly.
