Hall of Infinite Doors
You draw your sword from it's sheath and hold it in front of you. Men dimount and cautiously approach with spears. You raise your sword over your head and throw it at someone, missing badly. Then you turn, run and jump off the cliff into the churning water.
You black out on contact. When you awake you are floating downstream. It is now dark and the lights of the town are around you. Your legs and ribs still ache from where they entered the water. Up ahead you see the bridge of the town. You float under it and keep swimming until you are many miles downstream. Then, when you can go no further, you swim to shore and collapse, exhausted.
