Darkness and Light
You continue flying for what seems like days, until you finally collapse from exhaustion. Falling like a rock, you skid across the desert sand, getting sand in your mouth and nostrils. You don't even have energy to spit it out and clear the awful taste from your mouth. Then Tagon is upon you, and that becomes the least of your problems.
You can rest in peace knowing your plan is successful. Though you are too weak to put up a struggle, vampires are difficult to destroy. Tagon is also exhausted, and by the time he is finished with you, the sun begins to rise.
Panicking, he looks desperately for shelter from the sun's deadly rays, but there is none to be found. He soon follows you and becomes ash amoung the sand.
Although no one will ever know your tale, or sing valiant songs of your sacrifice, you are a hero nonetheless.
But then again who knows? Perhaps a kid, sitting on his computer, somehow knows your tale and is telling it right now.....
