Forest Dweller
You make no sound as you leap to the house nearby- a large, hollow tree with a roof of wood. You notice a stick on the ground and throw it in the woods, farther away. You see the ones nearby look over.
"Maybe there is something out there."
"Hey, our man's on it. Don't worry."
He's out of sight. You follow him, leaping the rooftops. You make sure not to let Ayla out of your sight- you don't want them touching her any more. However, they seem too interested in the noise to pay attention. He eventually ends up in a darker portion of the woods. Ayla is out of sight, so you need to act quickly.
There are many houses in the wood, even if many of them are unoccupied. Much of the wood grows in that way, so there are more houses than is needed. You need a swift, thorough attack to silence him. He's unaware of your presence, looking around. The man is fat but looks pretty strong, and has scars across his whole body. He has seen many a battle, so a traditional attack will not do. You could attempt to speak to the wood, but that would include closing your eyes and leaving yourself open to attack. Another option would be to jump in on him, but he could call for backup and you would stand no chance. The final option you can think of would be to throw a stick far away so he would go to chase it, then return to where Ayla is and deal with the rest- but even two is a lot to handle and you doubt he would stay gone for long.
