Legend
Reginald falls before your might, the look on his face is one of disbelief, but makes no noise when he dies. Just as well, he can save his screams for when he's being tortured by the Dark One's demons in the afterlife for his failures.
You may take Reginald's Vorpal Sword if you wish. It work just like a regular sword except if you score a double 6 in physical combat (Regardless of if you win the round) you'll kill your opponent instantly.
After the battle you take the opportunity to rest a bit (You may replenish your STAMINA back to its starting level.) before returning to the city. You want to return mainly to see how everything plays out. After resting for a couple of days you sneak back Holgard which still hasn't recovered completely from the chaos just yet.
The first thing you do is head back to the Dark One Hideout, to retrieve anything you might've left there. When you arrive you find that the place has been ransacked and destroyed, fortunately for you however you were wise enough to hide your belongings behind a brick in one the walls of your room. (Cross this place off as a "storage area" though) During your check you run into Repulsive again. Apparently he had the same idea.
"Not much left is there? The City Guard were pretty thorough in its destruction. I'd wager whatever they didn't take for themselves, the Syndicate probably did, either them or possibly a few of the opportunistic fleeing thieves from the Guild. They took everything, but then again I never had that much to begin with. So did you get Reginald?"
"Yeah, I got him." You remark.
"Heh. Wish I could've been there to see that."
"So what's the word in the city so far?"
"Word in the city? Nothing much, there's still a lot of anarchy, but the new ruler is taking pains to squash it."
"New ruler? I thought Farad got killed?"
"He did, but it looks like he wasn't the only brat vying for his father's power. The Baron's daughter Ludmilla took over. I have no doubt that she probably killed them both during the chaos, though she's officially saying that Farad killed the Baron and then she killed Farad. Anyway it doesn't matter and she's in power. Which means the Temple of Fel will be getting preferential treatment in this city for awhile."
"Temple of Fel?"
"Oh yes. Its not common knowledge, but the Baron's daughter is a high priestess of Fel. Wish she wasn't since she would've been a better asset to the Dark One than Reginald or Farad had been! She'll probably vilify and outlaw any faithful dedicated to the Dark One too. Oh well, such is the price of pursuing greatness."
"So any ideas of how to proceed?"
"Not really, but I'm sure I'll find a way to continue to spread of the Dark One's faith in this city. I thought about leaving, but then I thought this could be a new beginning for me. I can pursue my own path to serve the Dark One and not be held back or told what to do by others. I'll tell you one thing, no more damn sewers that's for sure. So what about you? Planning on staying?"
"I don't know, I'm sort of sick of this city. I feel like I wasted my time here. My path to serve the Dark One doesn't lay here, just as the Dark Fate that visited me said and what I've come to finally accept. I have to continue my travels elsewhere to figure out how I may best serve his dark glory. Though it's strange, but after all this, I feel like going back home."
"Ha ha! Maybe the Dark One wants you to start at the beginning."
"Perhaps, well in any case I'll find out."
And with those last words Repulsive and you part ways to pursue your own respective paths.
