Legend
As you mercilessly smash in the skull of the City Guard Captain, the remaining living brethren give a cheer while the remaining City Guard retreat and regroup elsewhere. You have proven yourself to be a more worthy leader than Reginald that's for sure, especially since there is no sign of him at all.
Despite your victory, you still don't think this is going to result in a city take over. You've lost too much of your manpower to maintain any sort of order. Even if the Baron's son is successful in taking over from his father and manages to make extensive changes to the city without getting assassinated, you still don't relish the idea of having to follow Reginald's orders. In fact you're done as far as that is concerned. You're going to carve out your own path without anyone else's help. Individuality. That's the true path of the Dark One, not being part of some "cult" dedicate to him.
While you ponder your next move, a familiar ugly face arrives to inform you of some of your concerns.
"Wow, nice work. The Dark One's probably a lot more pleased with you than he is with Reginald right now." Repulsive says.
"Where is he?"
"Reginald? He's packing his shit and getting ready to save himself. As soon as he heard Farad's plan failed and got himself killed, he's abandoned any notion of staying here."
Any chances of taking over this city are now completely gone.
"So just because his lover was killed, he's decided that carrying out the Dark One's will wasn't worth the effort?"
"Looks like, though I always sort of figured he was doing this more for his fancy boy than the Dark One. Anyway, I can't say that getting out of here isn't a good idea right now. This whole plan has been messed up by Reginald's incompetence as a strategic leader."
"Yeah, well incompetence in the name of the Dark One needs to be punished."
"Oh I have no doubt that he'll pay a price down the road."
"Not soon enough, you know where I can find him?"
"Heh heh, sure I do. He'll probably be escaping out of a secret tunnel that leads out of the city; I know where it exits though. Head out of the front gates and keep going until you reach a lone oak tree by some crossroads. The exit is near the tree. You won't be able to enter it as its set up to be one way, but as soon as he pops his head up, you'll be able to do the same thing to him as you did to that guard captain over there. Normally I don't wish anyone good luck, but in your case I'll make an exception. If you live, I definitely see a long and prosperous future for you as a Dark One disciple, assuming you don't cock it up like Reginald did."
You take you leave and make your way through the wreckage and devastation of the city and hurry towards where Repulsive told you to go. As luck would have it, you get there just as Reginald is making his escape. He turns around quickly to hear your foot steps run up on him. For the first time you actually see his face which isn't covered by a hood anymore. Damn pretty boy.
"Going somewhere? You've failed the Dark One and you must suffer the penalty for that failure. Isn't that what you used to say?"
"Yeah, but you are definitely not the one to make me pay anything. You weren't supposed to survive anyway, none of you were. You were all just tools, nothing more. Farad and I had plans for greater than you could ever dream of and now that's all over. Though it looks like I did underestimate your will to survive, but then again insects often to prove harder to kill than normally are. This should take care of that!"
Reginald makes some sort of incantation at you, but nothing happens.
"Hah! Looks like the Dark One has abandoned you for your cowardice and failure in his name!"
"Yeah? Well I guess I'll just have to prove myself worthy again by killing YOU!"
Reginald draws his sword and attacks.

Reginald is using a Vorpal Sword. If he ever rolls double 6s (Regardless of if he wins the round) then he's managed to decapitate you and your adventure ends here.
