Will Richard Save the Day on his Day Off? You Decide!

The enemy escort is quickly closing the distance between itself and your glider. You have an idea. Almost as fast as you can, you speed away from the escort. As you thought, it comes at you at full speed. Just before it's in range to fire its plasma cannons, you drop down and do a half loop so that you are behind the craft. Its forward momentum is great enough that it can't evade you right away, and you make short work of it.

By now you are starting to be taken more seriously, and the rest of the escort ships have changed course and are coming straight for you. This does however, leave the carriers virtually unguarded.

Peter comes on over the intercom again, "Richard, I hate to rush you, but we're almost at the station and it doesn't look like much support has arrived yet. There's only a few scout gliders who were surveying the planet, but they don't have much in the way of weapons. What will we do?"
