Brains!

Slowly you make your way in the direction of one of the larger light clusters. You can sense others around you, not exactly near you but around, and they are moving about in different directions as well. Some seem to be heading towards the light with you, but others are obviously going elsewhere.

You realize you are moving on two legs that take up about half your height and you have two arms that hang and swing jerkily from your sides. Although you can't feel anything from either of them you seem to be able to control and move them at your will, if not exactly fast.

You find yourself bumping into all sorts of hard things about half your height as you make your way. The area seems to be littered with them.

What are these?

Finally you find the ground becomes less even and moving becomes more difficult as something gives resistance against your legs. Long strands of something that tear easily but still hinder your movement slightly.

You still can't see through the darkness too well, but forms are starting to take shape as some of the lights seem to be growing closer.

Your foot gives way suddenly and you stumble forward onto a hard surface, lit up from a light a short distance above you. You try to look up at it but can't see anything around it other than the light itself.

From the side, down this long hard strip in the distance, you notice a couple new lights moving towards you with a slowly growing noise of some kind. It seems to be moving towards you.

Is that coming to me?

The noise grows louder and the lights brighter as they approach, until they are nearly on top of you. You also notice that strange feeling inside lurch again, demanding something from deep inside but still not making it clear.

The roar of the noise grows more and the large form the lights are attached to jumps aside and flies around you down the long strip of solid ground. It is now pulling away from you with two smaller red lights growing dimmer as it goes.

The feeling pulled hard the moment it passed but now is dying down a bit again as it disappears into the distance.

You still see the large collection of lights on the other side of this long strip, but there appears to be a long chain of these single lights strung along it. You are now torn as to which way to go.
