Ducky Park

It's not roller coasters, but you used to love the bumper cars when you were younger, so it doesn't really take much thought before you decide that it's the place for you.

"The bumper cars sound fun," you tell him.

He smiles that ugly smile of his again and nods enthusiastically. "They shore is," Jake agrees; "Ain't no damn thing better'n watching them kids get the whip lash."

You stare at him for a while and he stares back with a shit-eating grin on his face, chuckling under his breath and sending plumes of his foul smelling aroma your way.

"OK," you say; "I'm gonna go start." You say. "It's over by the water rides, isn't it?"

He stops laughing and wipes some spit from his face. "Yeah," he says.

You turn and walk off, making your way toward the classic park ride. It's a pretty short walk, really, past the wooden coaster, the sizzler, and the water drop and you're there.

You walk up to the ride where people purposely crash into one another and find the young lady operating the ride. You are about to introduce yourself when she turns around to face you and you find that you cannot speak. She is beautiful and utterly breathtaking.

"Hello," She says with a broad grin that almost sparkles like Saturday morning cartoons. Her voice is a choir of angels.

You try to stammer out a response, but come up with nothing, just opening your mouth and moving your lips. God, you think, She's gorgeous.

She smiles a little and giggles at you. "Are you working here today?"

"Y-yes." You say, nodding your head too much and feeling awkward.

She giggles again, but not in an unfriendly way. ""Good, I needed someone here with me. Come on, I'll show you what to do" she says, turning away from you. She walks over to the control booth. You follow her there, breathing in the faint aroma of perfume and desire in the wind.

She takes you to a little platform where the gears are. It doesn't look extremely complicated, just an on/off switch, a knob, a black button, and a lever.

After she hits the button, the bumper cars turn off. The people sit in the cars for a brief moment as though not entirely sure if it is safe to get up, then they get up and walk out of the bumper car area towards the gate.

The goddess in the ducky hat turns to you and asks you a question. "Do you want to work the control center here, or handle the gate? If you take the control box, you have to turn the ride on and off, and stop it in case of an emergency. If you take the gate, you have to make sure no one gets in until the rides have stopped, and you may occasionally have to chase a kid that's trying to sneak in.

"It's your choice," She says to you.

What do you do?
