All Is Fair in Hate

"I want to stay with her. She's my friend and the reason she is in the mess is because she was trying to help me. The least I can do is stay here and watch over her while she gets better." You start to walk through the archway of the door but the healer swings an arm out to prevent your entrance.
"She doesn't need you to look after her when her family can do that well enough. She needs you to, as well as all of us do, get moving and get rid of this evil. If you give it anymore time, you won't be able to stop it. Go!" The healer points her finger in the direction of the exit.
You hesitate, glancing over the healer's shoulder to Rella inside who lays without motion on a feather matress within the room. Looking for only a moment at the healer, you turn and swiftly make your way from the temple and out the gates of the healers' grounds.
"Do you think she'll be alright?" Your voice is soft, unsure.
"Of course. Rella is a fine woman. She won't let this kill her." Daisuk's purr sends confidence through your body and you mount his silken form and begin your ride to the next town.
The shadows of the night grow darker, and darker. Were someone to see you riding Daisuk down the road they would think you an apparition sent from the goddess to light the way of the road. In a way, such is your rank.
You travel a long while but soon come to a fork in the road. Which way shall you turn?
