All Is Fair in Hate
The healers put poor Rella on a stretcher and drew her into the temple. They were working their magic on the old women as they carried her through a vast amount of corridors, you and Daisuk on their heels.
The procession of healers entered a room but as soon as they did so, the doors swung closed and you were left to wait outside. Frantic with worry for the old woman, you paced back and forth one moment, buried your face in Daisuk's fur another, and then proceeded pacing once more.
Within an hour of your arrival, a healer came forth from the room they had secured for Rella. Gliding to a halt in front of you, she gave you a meek smile and began to explain the conditions.
"First, some of her bones are crushed, her lungs have been mangled by her rib cage, and her heart is beating rather slowly. All in all, with some magic she should be on her feet once more but that will take at least a month. Second, I'd like to say I'm glad to see you're on your feet Miss Keiya. We had quite a fret over you a few days ago."
The healer regarded Daisuk warily but you brushed her worry aside like it was some nagging fly.
"So she'll be all right?"
"Perfectly so. You should go on. The sooner you complete your quest and rid this world of evil, the sooner we won't have situations like yours or like this." The healer gestured to the entryway behind her.
