You decide to speak with the Marine Corp Recruiter. You walk down the hall to the office at the end and walk inside. Behind another wood desk sits Gunnery Sergeant Hawkins, Marine Recruiter as advertised on his business card he gave you.

The sharply dressed recruiter depicts a twin image of the Marine you had seen on the poster on the front glass window.

"How are you doing? I'm so glad you were able to come by. Here I want you to see a video I have afterwards we'll talk more about what interest you may have in the Marine Corp."

The Sergeant walks you over to a TV and slips in a DVD. You take a seat and begin to watch. The DVD starts off with soldiers running around the desert with rifles in hand. You are intrigued by the heavy weapons being used as soldiers run through simulated gunfire and smoke. What grabs your attention most is watch everyone work as a team, a squad of six working as one to conquer an objective.

Thirty minutes into the show the DVD ends with the known slogan, The Few, The Proud, The Marines! You walk back over to the Sergeant's desk and have a seat.

"Sergeant, I like what the Marine Corp has to offer I need something like this to grow my life into becoming a man. I especially like how everyone works together as a team to become the most feared fighting force in the world." you tell the Sergeant as he opens a folder of papers.

After signing several papers you officially join the Marine Corp Infantry. Your boot camp begins in two months. On the way home you wonder if you had made a smart decision. You think about how you will be away from your family, but the Sergeant had said you will be able to mail home money to your family to help out, and when you come out you will be more than qualified for any job.
