"I'm Esther, the King's champion," you respond. "He has summoned me to come and see him. The messenger that he sent was murdered, though."
"Why were you sneaking around, then?" one of the guards demands. "If you really *are* Esther, then why not come to us straight away?"
You shrug slightly. "Because it was easier this way?"
One of the guards steps forward to look closely at your face. After a moment, he nods. "You're Esther. Carry on."
"Thank you," you reply.
