Legend
While it's true you want your name to be known, you still wish to keep a low profile. You prefer to be that person behind the scenes. The one who people know about, but never actually see until its too late. Being a ruler would put you too much up front and out of the shadows. You must decline.
"Ludmilla I appreciate your offer and everything, but my faith would not permit me to be a ruler. A Priest of Fel must stick to the shadows and the background. I'm probably too out in the open as it is, come to think of it. In fact I think I shall be taking my leave soon. I fear the world of politics while shadowy and subtle in its own way, is causing me to stray from my faith, especially since I'm known as the one who crushed the rebellion."
Ludmilla seems to smile at your answer.
"Ah, you are new to the faith; you've taken its teachings a bit too literal. One can still follow it and still be a ruler. Many of our High Priests are fairly well known leaders you know."
It suddenly occurs to you how Ludmilla always seems to appear from no where. She's a follower of Fel too! She's probably gained the ability to phase in and out the shadows and bend light to make herself nearly invisible. Obviously she has been a follower for quite some time to be able to do that. You're almost in awe of her now.
"See? There's more than one way of being sneaky and keeping secrets. While I'm a high profile public figure, nobody knows I'm a Priestess of Fel. Sometimes the best way to hide is in plain sight. I of course knew you were a follower of the faith by your mannerisms typical of those who first join. Plus those scars on your face I swear I have no idea why they still insist on some of those foolish barbaric practices of initiation, here let me get rid of that "
A strange black glow comes from Ludmilla's hand as she touches your face. Any scars you may have had on your face are now gone. You may also increase you Initial STAMINA by 4.
"I must admit, I was testing you a bit with some of my remarks from before. I was curious to see what your reaction would be. But, much of it was still true so I trust you'll be helping a fellow member?" Ludmilla asks.
"Of course!"
"Good. Now let us embrace in the darkness and our shadows intertwine." She says.
Later as Ludmilla leaves your room she tells you she doesn't care how it's done, but just to do it.
You decide to do it when the Baron gets his morning breakfast delivered to his room, you stop the servant delivering the food before he can get to the Baron's room and make up an excuse of how he doesn't want to be disturbed since he wants to have private meeting with you. Not asking any questions he hands you the tray of food, where upon you head towards the Baron's room. Only to find Hector guarding the door. He managed to survive Farad's assault on the Palace, by running and hiding in the stables when he saw the first demon conjured up.
"Hey, it's the big rebellion crusher! Don't tell me the Baron's got you delivering his food now. I would've thought even he appreciated you more than that!"
"Oh no, he wants to speak with me privately about something and didn't want to see anyone else. Of course he still wants to eat, well you know how it is. You can go take a break actually; he's so damn paranoid about whatever he has to tell me, he doesn't even want anyone outside his door who might overhear the conversation."
"Fine by me, I know nobody's going to do anything to him with you around anyway. See you later." Hector says and leaves.
This is it.
