The Ninja Epidemic
You rush in at the only ninja who has presented himself. The other ninjas can wait, assuming that they are even still in this wood.
You swing in at him, but he ducks the attack easily enough and counters with an attack of his own which you dodge just as easily. Then you hear a sound from behind you, like twenty feet touching the ground after dropping from the trees. You turn around to find that that is excatly what it was. Ten ninjas, each with swords drawn, stand before you.
With your attention diverted, the ninja you were originaly fighting drives his katana through your back. You look down to see it come out through your stomach in a mess of gore.
