The Ninja Epidemic
You walk up the cement porch stairs to the front door and knock three times. No one answers. You try knocking again, and again no one answers. Checking the handle you find that it is unlocked and you slowly let the door swing inward. You call hello a couple of times before stepping in.
You go to the stairs and begin to climb them, making your way to Harry's room. The closer you get, the more prominant your aprehension becomes. Something doesn't feel right about this. Something more than you entering the home uninvited. Your nerves are acting up something fierce as you reach for the door to Harry's room.
Slowly, you open the door and you step backwards in shock when you find him lying dead on the floor, his blood soaked deep into the carpet. He has been cut many times over and his skin is deathly pale. A well of vomit surges in your stomach and you are hard pressed to prevent it from coming up.
You turn around to go down the stairs when you see a dark shadow disappear behind the half-closed door to the bathroom. You swallow hard. It has to be a ninja, and it has to know you're here with all the noise you made entering.
Do you confront the ninja or do you head for the door?
