The Ninja Epidemic
"Lets head back to my place. He'll show up eventualy." You say. Rick nods and motions for you to get back in the car. He pulls out of the parking spot and starts to drive back up the street to your house.
"Damn, that was wild." He says to you. You can only nod in agreement. He looks over you as though he is about to say more when he is interrupted by a katana blade which comes down through the ceiling to poke into the seat between you. He momentarily loses control of the vehicle due to shock and swerves to regain control, his eyes wide. You pull out the two revolvers your cousin gave you and unload two shots from each into the cieling above you while Rick slams the brakes down. The body of a ninja falls from the roof to the hood to the ground, a trail of blood in it's wake.
You and Rick stare at each other for a few moments. "I'm going to go out there and make sure it's dead!" You yell to him over the ringing in your ears. He just nods his head.
You step out of the vehicle and walk cautiously towards the ninja. An old woman in curlers and a bathrobe is in her front yard watching you. You nudge the body with your foot and it does not move. You roll it over and look into the ninjas dead eyes. You look back to Rick to give him the sign that everything is good when you realise that nothing is good.
A swarm of ninjas is jumping out from the surrounding houses and yards, flanking the car. Rick locks the doors and rolls the windows up. He motions for you to hurry back to the car. You have four bullets left in each of your revolvers. Counting the ninjas, you realise that even if your aim was true, which it notoriously is not, there would still be a few left if every bullet killed one ninja.
You glance over to your side to see the old woman locking her storm door and peering out through the glass.
There isn't much time. You wonder why Rick hasn't just started running ninjas over. People panic in some situations. You're glad you don't.
How do you react?
