The Ninja Epidemic
You open the bathroom window with the cloth, careful not to leave any prints. You hitch a leg out the window and look down. It's only about twenty feet to the ground, right? Then why does it seem so far up? You have to hurry, she's on her way.
You see a drain pipe that you can probably swing over to and you kick your other leg out the window, slowly letting your body slide out, clinging on with your hands. You swing over to the drain pipe and grab hold. It worked! This shit only works in the movies!
As you start to climb down you realise why this shit only works in movies, the nails start to come out of the house and the drain pipe is coming loose. You're going to fall the remaining sixteen feet to the ground.
You let go of the drain pipe and land on your feet on the ground. Your legs buckle under the pressure and you crumple to the ground, as you do your knee lets out a sick and painful pop. You lay there on the ground for a while, somewhat winded before getting slowly to your feet. Your knee is in pain and you can't put any pressure on it.
A scream issues from within Harry's house. Apparantly his mom found him. You start to limp off, keeping to the sidewalk as you make your way home.
As you approach your home you see your father is home from work. His truck sits in the drive. Do you go in and talk to him or do you head for the All-Nite and wait for your friends to show?
