The Ninja Epidemic
"Get in then" He says to you. You get in and he starts the car. He backs out of the spot and starts driving down the street.
"That was a messed up night last night, huh?" He says to you. Possably the biggest understatement you've ever witnessed. You nod. "I mean, a ninja?! How do you run over a ninja in the middle of America? I didn't even know there were american ninjas."
The two of you are quiet for a while until Rick speaks again. "Harry and James didn't come to school today." He says to you.
"They're probably hung over." You tell him.
You ride on in silence for a short while. Rick speaks again. "Did you know that acoording to ninja laws of honor, if you kill a member of a ninja clan, the rest of the clan is sworn to avenge him?"
"I always figured that was just Hollywood bullshit." You respond.
"Maybe it is." He says.
You drive in silence for the rest of the ride. The car stops on the curb in front of your house.
"I didn't hit anything on the way here." he says as if it is a huge accomplishment.
"For that, I am thankful." You say as you step out of the car. You both wave goodbye and he drives away.
