The Ninja Epidemic
"Fine." He says. "Screw you." He gets in his car and drives off. It sucks that he's mad at you now, but you feel alot safer not driving with him.
You start to walk home. The sun is hot on your face, beating down fiercly from above. You are several blocks from home when a shiruken ninja star embeds itself in a tree just ahead of you.
You stop and look around, seeing no one.
The shiruken was inches from your face when it flew past you and a shiver of fear runs down your spine with the realization that you could be dead. You swallow hard and try to figure out what you should do.
