Fate's Crossing
You travel unnoticed into the Forest of Shadows. It is dark but you have grown up here since you were a young child. The woods have become your home and a good source of treasures to be taken from passing traders.
You crawl into a patch of thick bushes and fall fast asleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Dreaming~~~~~~~~~~~
"Burn the village, kill them all!!!"
"Gallion save the boys, do what you must , but save the boys!"
"Victoria I will not leave you alone"
"You must go, Go now and seek them safty. For here, they will surely die with the rest of us."
"I set you adrift this flowing river young Killion in hopes that you will find safty. Here take this gold pendant for someday you will find your......NO!! Kill me, but leave the boy....Go young Killion, may the end of this river find you in safe hands."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The last image you remember was that of your father as you drifted down the river and seen his murder take place as a sword gashed in through his chest.
You soon wake from your deep sleep. You reach down and grab the pendant that hangs from your neck. Your father's dying words cuts short but you hope to soon someday find what the other half of the pendant holds.
You suddely hear the quick steps of horses coming from the nearby trail, perhaps it may be the villagers seeking you out or new treasure to be taken from traveling merchants.
You crawl into a patch of thick bushes and fall fast asleep.
