Fate's Crossing
"Bandit! Thief!" yells the town's people as they chase you through the streets with swords drawn. You desperatly clench onto the stolen slab of ham.
You quickly run through the village desperatly looking for a place to hide. Up ahead you see a small run down hut which appears not to house anyone.
Quickly you bust through the wood planked door which barley hangs on one hinge. It is dark and a perfect place to hide. You hear the fast stomp of footsteps pass by the hut where you hide.
"Where did that boy go, I'll hang him by his neck if I see him again." yells the village market trader. You then hear the villagers leave walking back into town.
'Ha, stupid fools',you think to yourself as you begin to eat the stolen side of ham. Being a thief has become a master skill in which you have developed throughout your life. It has been your only known way to survive. Preying on those who could not defend themselves is the only way you know how. Since you were a young child you grew amongst the cruelist of bandits and thieves feared throughout villages across the land and talked about by many, known as the "Black Cloaks"
The large afternoon feast has made you grow a tired, wearied eye.You wonder if you should crawl into the corner of the hut to take a moments rest or travel back into the forest where you know you will be safe.
