Another Monday Morning
"Just leave it to me."
You return to your cubicle when you get a phone call. It's the boss on speakerphone. "Brian, come here quickly."
You hustle obediently to his office. You see Melanie standing next to the boss in a very form fitting light blue dress--with just enough cleavage showing to still be professional. And oh the form! Wow. As you nearly drool, the boss speaks:
"Brian, we've got a big opportunity to steal a major client, Bigfirm, from our competitor, Obnoxco. I'm sending Melanie down to their corporate get together in the Caribean to make a presentation. She needs some help lugging the big projector around, and, besides, it always looks better to send two people. Go home and pack right now. Here's your plane ticket. You both fly out in three hours. Now DON'T BLOW IT!!"
You can tell he's having fun, even though he's yelling at you. You wonder if he needed you to go down there anyway.
Early that evening you are standing in the lobby of a big hotel in the Caribean with Melanie by your side. You get the reservation, but there is only one room with a king size bed, and the rest of the hotel is booked. Worse yet, you see a team of five people from Obnoxco standing in the lobby. What would they do if they saw a couple from the competitor taking only one room?
