You hide in your closet. You hear the footsteps reach the top of the stairs just as you get into the closet.
You suddenly remember the secret chamber that you can access from the closet. You wonder if you should enter the secret chamber. Doing so might create more noise, but it's more than likely the man in the ski mask would never find it. Even if he does, you have UZIS in the secret chamber.
However, if he gets to you before you get to an uzi, you're in serious trouble...
